About ECLOF Uganda

Who We Are

With offices in Kampala and Luwero, ECLOF Uganda is a microfinance institution operating in Uganda. ECLOF, which stands for Ecumenical Church Loan Fund, is a global network of microfinance organizations that provide financial services to low-income individuals and small businesses. The organization aims to alleviate poverty and promote economic development by offering microloans, savings accounts, and other financial products to marginalized communities

ECLOF Uganda focuses on reaching out to rural and semi-urban areas, where access to formal financial services is limited. The organization provides loans to small entrepreneurs, farmers, and women-led businesses, enabling them to expand their businesses, improve their livelihoods, and create sustainable employment opportunities.

In addition to financial services, ECLOF Uganda also offers financial literacy training and business development support to its clients. These initiatives help individuals and communities build their financial capabilities, make informed decisions, and improve their overall financial well-being

ECLOF Uganda is part of the broader ECLOF International network, which operates in several countries across Africa, Asia, and Latin America. Each national ECLOF organization operates independently but shares a common mission and approach to microfinance.
